Rita Begum, Labour’s London Assembly Candidate for West Central, teamed up with RBKC Labour Councillors Ian Henderson and Mo Bhaktiar to ensure that the Ebury Food Surplus Food Bank did not run dry.
They supported a delivery of Food from Gems Environmental Building Services to make sure stocks were kept topped up.
Neil Hudson, contract manager for Gems Environmental Building Services (Westminster), said:
“When we received the call to support the food bank we were delighted to respond. We are always looking to support those who may need assistance at this difficult time”.
